Bonjour,

massmailer

From what I understand (I'm new to all this stuff), there are two issues here.

1) Localization of the admin interface -- a "lang" folder contains loads of PHP files for a couple of languages.

2) Localization of the user interface -- a single PHP includes file (I guess that's what the ".inc" means), for English.

Questions:

About 2):

 • Are there .inc files for other languages -- for massmailer? If they exist, where can I get them?

 • I guess that I should change config.php's "$language_module" to a "french.inc" file to "make things work", right?

However, the warning just above "$language_module" states: "// this is not really going to do anything except keep phplist from complaining"

So, is this actually working or not?

About 1):

 • How do I configure the admin interface so that it uses the French PHP files -- the "fr" folder inside "lang"?

I had an "impression" (by reading "languages.php" [in /phplist/admin/]) that it was attempting to guess the language by using data provided by the browser (is that what "HTTP_ACCEPT_LANGUAGE" is for?)

However, this is clearly not working for me -- everything pertaining to massmailer in the UI is in English.

So I thought I could change all the 'en' strings in "languages.php" to 'fr'. No cigar, everything's still in English.

So: how do I configure massmailer's admin interface to use French? The files are already there, I just want to use them!
